MSK Program of Care

WSIB will cover you for physiotherapy for neck injury, upper back pain, repetitive sprain/strain injury to elbow, wrist, hips, knee,or ankle, carpal tunnel syndrome or other on approved claim number.

Low back  Program of care

Low back pain is common due to work injuries, have you suffered a low back injury at work ?

Work safety board allows treatment for low back injuries under a low back program of care on approved claims.

Shoulder Program of Care

Shoulder Injuries are common at the workplace. Because the Shoulder is used most of the time when the arm is used, pain in the shoulder can lead to limited functional activities and makes it impossible for a worker to perform its regular duties. An employee will need months ( 8-12 weeks Plan of care) or sometimes longer to recover from it. Shoulder program of care from the work safety board allows employees to have physiotherapy therapy to safely return to work.

Common causes for shoulder injuries are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, packaging, shoulder level repetitive work, powerful tools,slip and fall  etc.

Repetitive sprain/strain shoulder

Rotator Cuff tendonitis or tendinosis

Rotator tear

Fractures

Dislocation

Shoulder Impingement

Concussion/dizziness, Vertigo ( Mild traumatic brain injury) Program

Concussions are covered under the Mild traumatic brain injury program of care ( WSIB.. Program will allow them to have three months of physiotherapy for post concussion syndrome. 

Post Concussion symptoms varies from dizziness, headaches, light sensitivity, balance disorder, emotional symptoms, sleep disturbance, nervousness, anxiety , neck pain etc

Initial concussion treatment are based on symptoms, signs and symptoms, pre injury history, other past medical history. 

 Your physiotherapist at The Cambridge Physiotherapy, along with consultation from your treating doctor, can create, implement, and monitor your return to activity plan.
