Refugee Claims (IFHP)
We can directly bill for refugees with valid status under the IFHP. Coverage includes one physiotherapy assessment and 12 treatments per calendar year. Clients don’t pay anything out of pocket, but their eligibility ends when their refugee status expires.

Do I have to pay for my physiotherapy appointment?
No, you don’t have to pay anything upfront. Simply provide us with your UCI number, and we will direct bill your insurance for your physiotherapy treatments.
Are any services covered other than physiotherapy?
Yes, your coverage includes braces for conditions such as back, knee, or ankle braces, as well as orthotics, depending on your condition. These are covered under your IFHP plan.
Is massage therapy covered by my insurance plan?
Unfortunately, massage therapy is not covered under your insurance plan for refugees under IFHP.
